Homestead is where South Florida's trade gets practical. The agricultural lanes that feed the region's growers and packers start just outside the door, PortMiami and Miami Intermodal are a short drive north, and I-95 and the Turnpike carry everything in between. Mex Clearing was placed here on purpose: close enough to the terminals to react quickly, and rooted in the community whose freight moves through them.

The office works alongside licensed customs brokers, not in place of them. Any filing that law requires a licensed broker to make is made by one, with Mex Clearing coordinating around them.
